Maveryk (Shaun Heywood, ABN 44 647 519 423) ("Maveryk", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We use personal information to: provide, operate and improve the services; set up and run your AI agent or software; process payments and send invoices; provide support; communicate with you about your account; and comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only as needed to deliver the services, including with trusted providers such as Stripe (payments), Supabase (database & authentication), our telephony/AI providers (to operate voice agents), and email delivery providers. These providers are bound to protect your information and use it only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Some of our providers may store or process data outside Australia (for example, in the United States or the European Union). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Where your AI voice agent records or transcribes calls, you are responsible for ensuring appropriate disclosures and consents are in place with your callers as required by applicable law. Recordings and transcripts are processed to provide and improve your service and are accessible to you through your account.
If you connect a Google Calendar in your client portal, Maveryk asks Google for three permissions and uses them only to run your bookings:
What we store. In our database (Supabase), we keep the access and refresh tokens Google gives us, the connected email address, the ID of each calendar event Maveryk creates (so we can move or remove that same event later), and a copy of your busy times: start and end only, replaced each time we check, at most every 10 minutes. We don't store the titles, descriptions, locations or guests of your events.
Who sees it. Your AI receptionist only receives the free times we work out from your busy times, never your calendar itself. We don't share Google user data with anyone else, except our database host as needed to run this feature. We don't sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to build or train AI models. No one at Maveryk reads it unless you ask us to help with a problem, it's needed to keep the service secure, or the law requires it.
How long we keep it, and how to delete it. We keep it only while your calendar is connected. Disconnecting in your portal deletes the stored tokens and your cached busy times straight away. Event IDs stay with your booking records (they only identify an event, they hold none of its content) until those bookings are deleted. Events Maveryk already added stay in your calendar, and you can delete them there. You can also remove Maveryk's access in your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or email hello@maveryk.com.au and we'll delete it for you.
Maveryk's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Our website uses minimal cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services and meet legal, accounting and reporting requirements. On request after your account closes, we will delete or de-identify your personal information where we are not required to retain it.
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
